Spirit Level

This point activates our ‘Third Eye’ or ‘Ajna’ - the 6th Chakra, Center of Intuition, and spiritual vision. It activates the pituitary gland, thereby fostering our sense of connection to others and nature.

This point's alternative name, no name,  refers to the Taoist concept that once The Tao (The Way) is named, it is no longer the eternal Tao and therefore is referred to as nameless.

The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao;
The name that can be named is not the eternal name.

The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth.
The named is the mother of ten thousand things.
Ever desireless, one can see the mystery.
Ever desiring, one can see the manifestations.
These two spring from the same source but differ in name;
this appears as darkness.
Darkness within darkness.
The gate to all mystery.
- Laozi (Lao Tzu), Tao Te Ching
