Stomach 36 -Leg Three Miles -An Acupuncture Point that empowers the virtues of grounding, centering , nourishment, and integration

All… most… there… I am so close… to …. finishing this post… just need… a… little more…energy… pressing…. Leg Three Miles…. Ahhhhhhhhh…

This is one of the most famous and commonly used acupuncture points. The name of this point reflects its use for accessing deep nourishment and energy when we are worn out and fatigued. “just 3 more miles. I can make it!”

This post was inspired by one of our Village Wellness Online community members who was looking for support for IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and this is a wonderful point to use for that!

In the treatment room, I often use this point when my patient is having digestive issues, trouble learning or focusing, or feeling obsessive or overly worried. It is also one of the main points for generating Qi in the body, grounding us, and accessing deep nourishment. If a patient is feeling wiped out and very fatigued this is one of the best points to stimulate.
